As of 2019, The Bomb City Bombshells are a 501(c)3 Organization.
What does this mean exactly?
​
First and foremost, we are working to build the roller derby community in and around Amarillo. We want to create a safe and productive space for people to be apart of. We have expenses involving rent for practice spaces, bout spaces, costs of travel for out of town games, equipment needs, and merch investments. Organization members pay monthly dues to participate, which generally go toward the cost of practice space rent. We run monthly fundraisers to aid in the rest of our needs, but are always looking for sponsors to help out as well!

We also partner with other non profit organizations. Be it through assisting them with events, or raising funds for and spotlighting them at ours, we want to help other local non profit organizations in Amarillo. So far we have worked with the AAYC Community Center, The Texas Panhandle Suicide Prevention Coalition, The Hope and Healing Place, and the local Family Support Services. We hope to continue our relationship with these amazing organizations, as well as to help many more in the future!

We are currently working on redoing our sponsorship offers at this time, and as we work on getting back to a normal routine post-covid, we will have the options available!

From renting an adequate space to practice in to maintaining our gear each season, none of it would be possible without our incredible fans! We appreciate and love every single person who has done anything to help us! From sharing Facebook posts, to coming out to a bout, every last ounce helps us reach our goals! We can't wait to get back to regular skating and planning our next season!
